I really like em, but I'd want a couple more links on the chain. That's just personal preferance though. Easier on the elbows.

In the book it said a three inch length of chain. I used 5 links. Any more chain and it would rattle and clank a bit. Actually it has pretty decent movement (I'm no Bruce Lee, but I could hurt someone with em').

I agree. But since it doesn't have ball bearings, just a chain won't quite have the flexibility. Like I said, that's personal preference. You didn't do anything wrong. In fact, it's a work of art!

Even if someone lived through the original beating they could get a bad case of tetanus. They look plain mean.
