Is it any good?

I liked "The Barrens and others", and "Aftershock", this is the only one I need to track down now,

what's everyone's verdict on it? and is the Hardcover hard to find?

Any collection of short stories by The Man is a great read. Check out Amazon or any other book site. You'll find used and paperback versions....some at cheap prices. Good hunting.

The story 'Soft' is one of my favourite of FPW short stories.
Good luck in your search.

Verdict: MADE OF WIN!

Soft & Others is one of the very best - maybe THE best - short story collection I've ever read. Seriously. The Man knows how to write for the format and the stories rock.

Besides the outstanding "Soft", the collection contains at least two other Must Read stories for a die-hard Wilson fan: "Dat-Tay-Vao" and "Lipidleggin'". You don't want to miss those.

I think I remember seeing that the book has gone out of print so hardcovers may be in short supply and only available at a premium. On the other hand, if you do the e-book thing, you can get this one for just $2.99 (on Amazon anyway). That's an insanely good deal, right there.

Are you still reading this post? Sheesh! What are you waiting for? Go get your book already! Big Grin

Thanks for all the info guysBig Grin

Much appreciated.

Looks like I better start hunting--I need a hardcover as I have all the other books in that format.

The hardcover tends to be a little pricey. In the meantime, if it's an option for you, it's available for the Kindle for $2.99.
