They may be safer on the farm but its so BORING! I liked it better when the traveled and camped out place to place.

The only reason I can think of why Lori left to chase after Rick was she had talked with Dale who suspects that Shane sacrificed Otis so he (Shane) could survive and Lori just HAS to tell Rick NOW.

Dale tried to talk to Lori about Shane, and she shut Dale down. I didn't get the impression that she was all that concerned about Shane.
I kind of hope she died in the crash. I am getting tired of her character and the wide eyed scared expression that seemed to be the only one the actress could have during the first half of the second season.
