Our senior editor picked this up for me at Necon and had the man himself sign it to me. Too cool!

Very cool Tyrion. That is one of the very few FPW's I have not yet read. I want to very badly but have not yet been able to lay my hands on a copy.

I've got an old paperback copy. It is a good book but what I love most is the quotes from F Paul Wilson and dedication: "To my husband without whom this book would not have been possible".

You're thinking Michael Mann, of course.

No, Blues. I know he mangled his first shot at making The Keep for most people. I know I'm in the minority because I liked the movie. I'd like to see Ron Howard do it.

He definitely blew it when he made THE KEEP, but for my taste, he made up for it with THE LAST OF THE MOHICANS.
