It was...OK. I honestly expected it to be worse, from everything I had heard. It was a little draggy-I kept thinking of FPW's FF rating for movies. The middle and the end were worth the price of the ticket, and it was fun to watch Anthony Hopkins chew the scenery. I may just be an old man,but I thought some of the graphic violence was a little uncalled for-your mileage may vary. As an old-school Universal Horror fan,I'd say its worth a watch at least.

I saw it on Friday night. It was fantastic and I enjoyed it. I really like Rick Baker's works. It reminded me of his other work "An American Werewolf in London", but apparently his skill developed. Transformation scene was so smooth, and very realistic.

But I thought Benicio Del Toro don't need special makeup. :p

Anthony Hopkins on the stairs, eating the apple, and just staring at Emily Blunt. That may have been the creepiest part of the movie. His eyes were just freaky. What was going through his mind?

I mainly liked the film because it still felt like an old movie instead of being overly-modernized to the point that it's not simply a "remake"
