Scott Miller Wrote:I decided to treat myself to the matinee this morning and while it is not great by any standards, I rather enjoyed it. Rick Baker's work was reason enough for me to like it-the transformation scenes were cool and I thought the fully turned wolfman a nice homage to the original. I'd say if you like old fashioned monster movies, you'll probably like this. It is not truly scary but there are several pretty good jump scares.

Scott Miller Wrote:Maybe. I don't get the paper any more but I don't recall seeing his name attached to the film but that doesn't mean he isn't it just means I haven't heard if he is and let me tell you that the things I don't hear far outweigh the things I do.

I definitely thought it was worth seeing on the big screen. The transformation scenes were very, very good, imo. Like others have said, it wasn't truly scary, but I wasn't really expecting it to be either... I expected a pretty solid remake of the original Wolfman movie, and that's exactly what I got.
