William Dafoe is in it. Possibly the worst movie ever made. I never heard of it and watched it on Netflix. It is like a badly made, artsy style, independent film, with flashes of snuff, torture porn. And I don't think it had anything to do with the Antichrist.

How do some of these movies get made?

The bombs get made and got right to DVD, waiting for unsuspecting movie fans to pick it and then be sorry that we did.

An interesting perspective. Although I wouldn’t call it a horror movie. There are scenes that are, perhaps, horrifying, but they form just a part of a complex journey.
Something I really liked was the way the film interacted with the viewer. It takes very confident/arrogant direction to draw in viewers with beauty and then disgust them.
During the time in the forest, there is a building sense of dread. But it is slow. Lulling. Nature is destructive, but it is a slow decay, with each ending life being absorbed back into nature. At this point, viewers are starting to get bored. The psycho-babble is getting irritating, and he probably deserves a good slap.

Lars Von Trier. Talentless, pretentious wanker.

As far as I can recall, Willem Dafoe has been in one good movie (out of the dozens he's credited in). That's _Streets of Fire_. (I don't count the first two Spider-Man flicks as good movies, I saw them and would rather have that wasted beer money back).
