Like many others on the board I sadly feel this will never happen (film or TV)

About 2 years ago it felt that things were moving, but my understanding is it has all gone quiet

If FPW pops into this thread I'd be interested to know if he feels that any of his ideas have been blatantly ripped if by film or TV

Brian Lumley had similar things to say at WHC about getting Necroscope to the big screen, and he seemed very bitter that he felt his ideas had been ripped off a number of times

I used to frequent Lumley's board and yeah, there have been tons of shows, series, whatever that have ripped off stuff from his Necroscope series. Harry Keogh is right up there with Jack as a favorite fictional character. I think both HK and RJ are going to be tough to do justice to in any sort of filmed media, but I sure as hell would like to see it at least attempted using the true source material instead of the pale, weak rip-offs we have gotten to see pieces of.

Well I'm glad I had a decent responce to this idea. I was thinking by the way of the series true blood. It sort of has episodes just bleed over into other stories which I think would be perfect for RJ. Also Im sure I am not alone in loving the witty remarks Jack has in his head throughout each book. I think the show Dexter really does well with that, dexter always seems to be thinking to himself, and a lot of the times it makes me laugh out loud. I think the same would be perfect for the hypithetical RJ Mini Series. By the way, anyone else think Jason Issacs would make a perfect Rasalom? Just sayin.

P.S.
Dear FPW,
Any thoughts?
