Hi, FPW I had some ideas and I thought they were good. Tell me what you think. I know that you said that Jake Nacht has too many similarities to RJ to let them Co-Exist, but maybe now that Jack's dad has died, Jake would be a great guardian angel for Jack. If not he could at least be one of the fella's in the tin box Jack's father always kept in his closet. Jake could have trained and fought alongside Jack's old man. (A flashback of Jack's dad saving a young Jake's life in the war would be cool.) Jack's dad's death would be as good a reason for Jack & Jake to meet. More importantly, These two characters meeting would tie in "Night Kill" into the Adversary Cycle.

On a completely different topic. I would love for Abe to sell Jack a 5-Shot Smith & wesson 500. 50 calliber magnum revolver. (It is a grade A- Monster Killer!!!! a real wrist breaker)

With that I thank you for your time, and the world of Repairman Jack. I continue to be a fan.

Great minds think alike!Big Grin

I asked FPW a while back to combine the two. Since Tom (Jacks dad) and Sarge were both snipers during Korea, I believe he made Sarge his instructor. I think he was going to include him in the photo Jack finds, but it would be in the paperback. If it was done, this gives an indirect link between Jake and Jack.

Now, I'm still waiting for Jack to meet Carly the "face lift killer". That would be cool!

Outstanding!

Axioms Jack seems to live by (inadvertantly or not):

Why he does what he does: "I chose this life. I know what I'm doing. And on any given day, I could stop doing it. Today, however, isn't that day. And tomorrow won't be either." Bruce Wayne, Identity Crisis

On Rasalom: "Water's wet, the sky is blue...and good old Satan Claus, Jimmy...he's out there...and he's just gettin' stronger." Joe Hallenbeck, The Last Boyscout

Thanks, ZJ. The title of your post inspired me to write a new flash fiction piece. I just submitted it to Alien Skin Magazine. $5, here I come!

They passed an old woman who was just opening the door of a brown Cadillac. An old man was already sitting in the passenger seat. The car had a personalized plate with the letters “J-U-S-P-R-A-Y”.
“That stuff work?” Israel said to her.
“‘Scuse me?” the little old woman said, clutching her keys.
“The spray. Does it keep them away?”
“Keep who away?” She looked confused.
“I gotcha.” Israel gave her a conspiratorial wink.

It's all of that . . . and then some.

Like the 454 Cassull, the S&W 500 Magnum was designed for big game hunting. Only the S&W was designed more for African-type Big Game.

(But then the 44 Magnum was made for hand gun hunting as well.)
