Twilight: New Moon--No gore. No action. Talk, talk, talk. Although the Vampire Council was a movie in itself. Hope to see more of them in Eclipse, Part Three.

2012--In the tradition of Earthquake, Poseidon Adventure, The Swarm, and The Inferno, 2012 is a cheap soap opera surrounded by tredmendous special effects. Some of the dialogue is laughable, but watch this on the big screen. The effects alone carry the movie.

Blindside--Story of Mike Ohr, who was picked up by the Baltimore Ravens. Lacked the grittiness needed to understand Ohr's transition from street orphan to star football player. Last twenty minutes almost pulls the story off, but then reverts to the cliches and stereotypes. Waited a long time to see this movie. Go rent We Are Marshall or The Great Debaters instead.

Planet 51--Chockful of 50's references and allusions, this nifty little flick scores high on the pat yourself on the back meter for spotting the in-jokes. Trouble is, the movie's not funny. But likeable. Worth a watch if you're taking the kids, just so you can explain the allusions to them.

I won't see Twilight: New Moon. First one disappointed me. That's NOT vampire movie!

2012 was awesome special effect and corny dialogues. I want to see Whitley Strieber's 2012 the war for souls movie.
