Do shorts count?

The Little Match Girl is incredibly touching. You'd have to be a cold-hearted SOB to not show some emotion.

Made by Dinsey & Pixar and based off of Has Christian Anderson's tale of the same name. Surprisingly, Disney didn't butcher the ending.

That was CGI? I thought it was animation-it reminded me of that woodcut art.

Robots hasn't been mentioned yet and should be.

I have one that no one has mentioned. I enjoyed it so much, I took different girlfriends with me to see it (back when I was single) and I bought the soundtrack (an LP, just to show how long ago that was). It was classical music (by the Berlin Philharmonic under Herbert von Karjan) with animation. Parts were funny. The non-animated parts were black and white.

Allegro Non Troppo (which translates as "Not Too Fast").

Some of the numbers included: "Aprez Midi d'un Faun" (Afternoon of a Faun) by Debussy; "Waltze Triste" (The Sad Waltze) by Sibelius, and "Bolero" by Ravel.

I can never forget the march of evolution illustrated by the stomping of dinosaur feet. I wish they would remaster it.

NYj

Then out spoke brave Horatius, the Captain of the Gate: "To every man upon this earth, death cometh soon or late; And how can man die better than facing fearful odds, For the ashes of his fathers, and the temples of his Gods,"
"Well, John Henry said to the Cap'n, "A man ain't nuthin' but a man. But, before I let that steam drill beat me, gonna die with my hammer in my hand, Lawd, Lawd, gonna die with my hammer in my hand."

I don't know if I can do ten, and most of mine have been mentioned already like "The Incredibles", The Simpsons Movie, and The Spongebob Movie". But one I've liked since I was a kid was Disneys "The Fox And The Hound".

Renaissance was a good one, but I really liked

FreeBeerTomorrow, how can you have Batman:Sub-Zero on your top ten list and not Mask of the Phantasm...everyone knows its the BEST Batman film ever made(and that includes live-action)!Big Grin You guys have some great lists, but off the top of my head I just have to express my admiration for WHO FRAMED ROGER RABBIT?...even if it is an animation/live-action mix. It was made right before the big computer CGI animation boom, and as such used tons of old school visual tricks and animation. That whole film is like a giant love letter to the golden age of animation. They'll NEVER make 'em like that again!!!

Hiyo Goddamn Silver!!!!
