Seeing as my "Western" thread generated good response and to acknowledge the 10th anniversary of The Iron Giant, I figured I'd give the animated flicks some props...
This list can include both cgi and hand drawn flicks.

1) The Iron Giant (This one's in my top 10 favorite movies..period)
2) The Secret of Nimh (80's classic. Great story and animation)
3) Toy Story 1 (For the ground that it broke)
4) Wall-E (I just always feel happy after I watch this movie)
5) Batman: Sub-Zero (Great story and cgi/drawn combo)
6) Fantasia 2000 (Boundaries pushed)
7) The Incredibles (Has it all)
8) Fire and Ice (Frank Frazetta in motion...say no more)
9) Spirited Away (no list of animated films would be comlete without this)
10) The Spongebob Squarepants Movie (Because it's as close to Monty Python as a lot of todays kids will ever get)

I haven't seen most of those films. I can't think of 10 that I really liked.

1. The Nightmare Before Christmas
2. Toy Story 2
3. Corpse Bride

I can't think of any other feature length animated films that I liked a lot.

Some that have been mentioned:

The Incredibles
The Spongebob Squarepants Movie
The Nightmare Before Christmas

I haven't seen many of the movies listed. Some I can't remember. I know I've seen The Secret of Nimh but I can't tell you anything about it.

Does Who Framed Roger Rabbit count?
Princess Mononoke
Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children

Now I'm getting into the tv cartoons made into movies.
South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut
Futurama: Bender's Big Score (Didn't care that much for the other ones.)

That's all I can think of at the moment.

I keep waiting on a finale movie to tie up the Samurai Jack series but from what I have read online it's probably never going to happen. That sucks because they are fantastic cartoons and the series is in dire need of closure...Luke Skywalker vs Vader type closure...;-)

Good call on Tarzan. The animation and atmosphere in that one is amazing. Good call on Lilo and Stitch as well...

The Brave Little Toaster - seriously, for some strange reason this is my all time favorite animated movie.
The Hobbit
The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh -
the 1977 classic
The Secret of Nimh
Finding Nemo
The Lion King
Shrek
Aladdin
American Pop
- thanks for the reminder, ImDeranged. Love that one!
Who Framed Roger Rabbit (assuming animation/live action counts)

And I expect that I will come back to add the soon-to-be-released (about a week from now) animation / live action movie of Where the Wild Things Are. Looks like it is going to be awesome. Check it out. Smile

I forgot about The Hobbit. I'll add that to my list.
