Markus Wrote:Hi Al,

i´ve been watching your project for a while and like the idea of making a game of "the keep". your youtube video is very nice. makes me to want more.

i´m 37 years old, old school gamer for more than 20 years, used to work as a graphic-artist, have some knowledge about 3d-software like cinema 4d and off course i´m a fpw-fan.

so i wanted to ask you, if you can need a helping hand at your project? maybe for graphic´s or texturing or something.
Looking forward for an answer of you.

with the very best regards from germany,

markus

Man, modelling is not my expertise. I really need any help on this. What I really need now, is the mountains of Dinu Pass. I am using terrains, but details lost on high hills.

Hi Al,

so how can i help you ?
What kind of Modellingsoftware do you use?
I did some Modelling, created some Characters, but landscaping is a bit different.
How can we work this out? You send me a file of it? i create an own File?
I´m not sure about the way i can give you a helping hand.
Maybe you got an Idea.

greets,

markus

Well, modelling the characters will help a lot. Maybe you can start with the german soldiers or the SS zombies. The format can be a biped rigged compatible with 3dMAx biped.

Hi Al,

i got myself 3dmax 7 now.
i can´t make a promise about modeling soldiers, because it´s very long time ago that i created models with fully biped rigged stuff. but i´m willing to refresh my basic knowledge again.
first now i will google some pics of german soldier and nazi stuff and then we will see. maybe it will take some days.

greets,

markus

Hi Markus, Take you time. Even a non rigged model will help a lot for previewing. Smile 3DMax 7 is very fine. In fact, the big issue for me is the keep itself. I will make my ideas and send to you to refine it, if it ok for you.

Hi Al,

o man, 3dmax had changed a lot since the last time i used it. but im digging thru some tutorials.
unfortunatly i gave my "the keep" to my father to read it and i have to wait to get it back and reread it and refresh my mind on some details about the keep itself and the area around it. but you can send me your files anyway.
happy modeling,

markus
