Agreed. Heinlein was not well-served by adaptations of his work.

One of his novels was, I think, the most often-plagiarized modern SF books there is.

But if you think Starship Troopers is bad you should see Starship Troopers 3. It was so bad but we had to buy it! I loved the corniness of the first one. Never saw the 2nd one.

They were meant to be corny, goofy, whatever. That's what makes them great to laugh at.

So you shouldn't see Starship Troopers 2. That was too terrible. Part 3 was totally crap!

The first one was better than sequels.
