I just finished the first and second (chronologically) books. Great read and very tough to put down.
I love the politics, and the series should definitely be required reading in schools today. La Nague is one of my new heroes. If only he were here we might get this mess we have straightened out.
Can't wait to start Healer. I don't expect it to last long.

That's a trick question. There isn't a politician out there that will finish the job and fix all the problems, that would mean their out of work! Their job is to create unfixable problems that lead to more problems that only they can fix (infinity).
