Welcome to the board Deni.

As to the question of threads for just Rasalom and Glaeken....maybe...I don't think you'll find just one thread for each. But what you will find are individual threads about specific books and the discussions that ensue. Check out the search feature above. Then look at the end of the thread for similar links that are occasionally listed.

Deni Wrote:Thank you Wapitikev, I'm very happy to be here. Just to mention, I've edited my post above for bad spelling and grammar, considering that I'm a writer myself (screenwriter), I should know better (is there an embarrassed "smiley"?).

Anyhow, I'm working my way through the series. I'm just now on "All The Rage" and I'm enjoying it.

I have so many questions about Rasalom and Glaeken though. Is there a special thread for them?

Once again, thank you for the welcome and I'm looking forward to visiting this forum more in the future.

Embarrassed Smilie = :o

You can definitely use the Search feature as sister Cobalt suggests, but you will find that is there are dozens of threads where each is mentioned instead one one specific thread for each.

The nice thing about the board is that threads birth and die as needed. If you have a question about one of the characters, just post it and it will be discussed and, if there is already a relevant thread from last year (or older) often senior members will helpfully link to it.

You'll run into Glaeken again in a big way in By The Sword. Stay tuned. And Harbingers is going to twist you inside out.

Heh.

Axioms Jack seems to live by (inadvertantly or not):

Why he does what he does: "I chose this life. I know what I'm doing. And on any given day, I could stop doing it. Today, however, isn't that day. And tomorrow won't be either." Bruce Wayne, Identity Crisis

On Rasalom: "Water's wet, the sky is blue...and good old Satan Claus, Jimmy...he's out there...and he's just gettin' stronger." Joe Hallenbeck, The Last Boyscout

Abe's raised eyebrows caused furrows in his extended forehead. "Five in twelve hours?"
"Oh, and like you've never had a cranky day?"

I agree. While the Otherness has always been a major theme of the series, I would be sorely disappointed to see Jack take second place to said cosmic entity.

Welcome, Mote. You'll like it here.

Sadly the forces Jack finds himself embroiled in are larger than himself. That is the way of his future.

However, not having read anything past The Touch, I hope Jack gets to kick Otherness ass, in the end!
