Maybe its just me, but I think Reynolds is pretty damn ugly.

Its about 16 or 17 years since I read Nightworld and over 20 since I read The Keep and know they're quite different physically.

Take a look at Robert Redford and Wilford Brimley in the movie THE NATURAL. When that movie was made, Brimley was 50 and Redford was 48. And yet Brimley looks at least 20 years older than Redford.

Right. The kind of life one leads, as well as genetics. I have a brother who is two years younger than I am, and he looks at least ten years older. In his case, it's heavy smoking and all that booze.

Not to sat that Wilford Brimley lived a dissipated life -- he didn't -- but that he lived a considerably more outdoor life than Redford.
