Another candidate is the dude from Smallville who plays Doomsday. He's not as good looking as Dominic West and in some of his role's he is very plain looking. What he does have is RJ physique and he is good actor with a very good resume so far and is 32. Little bit younger than Jack but not overly so.

This shouldn't even be a debate. Ryan Reynolds is just perfect. If he's jack I'm buying a ticket for every showing opening day and just staying in the theater all day. It'll be orgasmic!

HEY!!! Silad had really got something! He's not a standout "prettyboy" like Ryan, but he is goodlooking enough, and thin enough to be a very good possible for Jack! Perhaps FPW will suggest that to whomsoever is going to be producing this film! BTW: ANY word on that??????????

I love Mike Rowe, but IM going to go with Kiefer Confusedmilewinkgrin:

Well, if Clive Owen is too old for this part, then Kiefer would really be too old! Sorry!

They're both too old, but Clive Owen is four years older than Kiefer Sutherland.

The front-runner in other Cast-threads (other than Reynolds) seems to be Desmond Harrington...He's 33 in October, which is about right for the first movie and the same age as Reynolds. He was first suggested as Jack by Paige, back in September 2006 (although she said he was too young at the time...but not anymore!).

Here are some pics:

He's good looking but not as good looking as Reynolds...almost, I don't know...average.

Axioms Jack seems to live by (inadvertantly or not):

Why he does what he does: "I chose this life. I know what I'm doing. And on any given day, I could stop doing it. Today, however, isn't that day. And tomorrow won't be either." Bruce Wayne, Identity Crisis

On Rasalom: "Water's wet, the sky is blue...and good old Satan Claus, Jimmy...he's out there...and he's just gettin' stronger." Joe Hallenbeck, The Last Boyscout

Welcome, Saocorey. You'll have fun here.

I have to give props to my fellow Canadians...I think Reynolds is fine for the role...but I may not stay all day at the theatre.

Heh.

Sam would have to keep his wiry hair straightened to look the part and his pouty lips turn me off, but hey, I'm a guy....I still think Desmond Harrington is a better choice, but Sam definitely looks more average than Reynolds.
