Anyone seen this? I should have it in the mail tonight. It was supposed to be the "Dead Like Me" movie, but for some reason Blockbuster leapfrogged it.

They passed an old woman who was just opening the door of a brown Cadillac. An old man was already sitting in the passenger seat. The car had a personalized plate with the letters “J-U-S-P-R-A-Y”.
“That stuff work?” Israel said to her.
“‘Scuse me?” the little old woman said, clutching her keys.
“The spray. Does it keep them away?”
“Keep who away?” She looked confused.
“I gotcha.” Israel gave her a conspiratorial wink.

Two things, Dead Like Me is out? I can't wait to see it. And thank you Gerald for noting this Jack Brooks movie. It looks right up my alley, and I may have never picked it up. I'll stay tuned to see what you think.

I bought it a while back. It is entertaining, but more of a goofy, comical horror/adventure film. It's more along the lines of an Evil Dead 2, or Army of Darkness type of film. Fun, but don't take it too seriously.

I'm also anticipating Bruce Campbell's "My Name is Bruce", a spoof on Bruce and the comedy/horror genre all in one.

I'd love to see an Evil Dead 4.

I just watched it a few days ago. Just yesterday I picked up the entire TV series The Adventures of Briscoe County from my library and I noticed they have Jack of All Trades(never even heard of it) which I'll be getting soon.

I liked it. It's the type of movie that begs a sequel. It'd be cool if this one took off and the sequel had a big budget. The Robert Englund monster was the best. The Audrey II looked more real and that was 20 years ago.

I have been watching an episode a night and it is just as much fun as I remembered it to be. Love it when my memory isn't overly nostalgic.

"Dead Like Me" was pretty good. No Mandy Patinkin, but it did have that Scottish guy from Lost.
