Hi all together,
I just intended to order The Barrens and Others.

I found 2 versions, 1 is paperback from 2000, the other hardcover from 2009.
Is the content the same, or is the 2009 a revised edition?
Or will there be a new reworked edition to come?

Thanks so far,
Joseph.

Where'd you find a 2009 HC? News to me.

Hi Mr Wilson,
on amazon uk, from 3rd party sellers:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Barrens-Others-F...212&sr=8-3
from publisher "Saint Martin's Press Inc". Maybe the info is wrong, but also different pagecount (compared to paperback..)

Well, now I find it says "first Edition" there, so it should be the same content.

btw: on St.Martins Press homepage (macmillan), no hardcover shows up:

I thought there might be a Forge-version of Barrens out there with the coverdesign of Aftershock&Others: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Aftershock-Other...469&sr=1-1, but it seems it's not.

The hardcover (1998 pub date, I believe) is long out of print. Whatever edition you buy, it's all the same.
