I have watched the USA TV Show "Burn Notice" and was very interested on how the main character Michael, has the personality and the same traits as the Jack character in Wilson's Novels. I think this is some what a rip off of a great character in a very fast paced novel series. I still like The Jack Series over the TV show but you be the judge and check it out On USA. The new season starts mid January.

I just watched an episode the other day and while I didn't think it was a rip-off I did say that the actor would make a great Jack. Must be because the characters are similar and I never picked up on it.

Welcome, pcguy390. You'll like it here.

Tsk, tsk, Tony.

Persephoneslove better not see that...she'll bitch-slap you hella-good.

She recommended Jeff Donovan in the OP of her thread "Who is your Cast?" WAAAAAAY back in June 2008 (the 14th to be exact).

You need to spend more time on the "TV and Film Discussion" forum, reading (you are forgiven if you keep on writing Golden Impossible, however).

Jeff Donovan would be a GREAT choice for Jack if he wasn't so old (Jack's supposed to be 32-33ish in the first movie). Donovan is 41 in May 2009. How old he will be when they actually start filming is anyone's guess (can you say social security?).

Reynolds is 32 right now.

The other (fairly) accepted choice for Jack is Demond Harrington. He's the same age as Reynolds but is closer to Jack's hight at 5'10" (Reynolds is 6'2") and description...he is less "pretty" so he matches the "average pale male" far better than Reynolds.

My vote for Jeff Donovan is for Jack's older brother in Infernal. Tom is 10 years older than Jack and Donovan is 9 years older than both Reynolds or Harrington.

Salutations!

I agree with Desmond Harrington as Jack. When watched Wrong Turn I thought that as well.

I read the TV and Film thread, but as a rule I don't participate in the Actor/Director/RJ Movie threads because I have been on the board for a LOOOOOOOOONG time, being a legacy member from the original board. The movie/actor discussions usually have nothing new to offer.

But I don't recall anyone else mentioning Desmond harrington...I like him because he and I have the same last name...so it would be cool to see the name "Harrington" associated with Repairman Jack.

I came up with the idea for Desmond Harrington as a possibility for RJ after I saw him in a role on the TV series Dexter..Ive never even seen wrong turn so I first saw him in Dexter..He also plays on the series Rescue Me with Dennis Leary...

ghaleon..What is it you can see that I do not??For where you can see hope and a future, I see only despair!

Props to Ghaleon for Des Harrington. Saved me from looking it up. As before, great choice.
