I agree! A lot of people would be suprised how many people in Vermont are red necks.

You'd think that Killing people would make them like you, but it doesn't! it just makes people dead.

I know that they met Andrew Vachss' lawyer charcater Veil once, and I instantly thought about a crossover where they had an adventure with Jack. Just wondering if anyone else had ever considered this. They live in, and have their adventures, in Texas, which could mean a wild and wooly ride for our city bred fix-it man...

Personally I'd like to see Jack run into Jesse Stone-the Chief Of Police of Paradise, MA (for those who haven't seen them, the film versions star Tom Selleck).

Hunter.... its been about 10 years... I remember when you first put the site up (on some VMS Alpha server IP-hybrid, no?)...hell I think my name is in there somewhere. I heard that about Chesbro...what a shame. I talked with him a few times and he seemed like a nice guy. great books and I could never figure out why he wasn't published any longer in America. Did you ever get the English translation for the french book?

Hi, Barry. Yes, the Chesbro site ran on an OpenVMS Alpha system until about two years ago.

If you're referring to Crying Freeman, no, I never did get an English translation of it. The last Mongo novel, Lord of Ice and Loneliness, has only been published in France, too. Sad

...and he knows everything. He's the Police Chief.
