Okay, what's the funniest scene you've ever watched in a) a movie and b) a TV series? I mean laugh-out-loud funny.

For me:

1) YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN, when Gene Wilder orders his assistants to lock him in a room with a monster and not open the door no matter how much he screams or begs them. They do so, and when the monster begins to awaken on the slab, Wilder completely loses it, hysterically begging and threatening them to no avail before coming up with a novel solution.

2) THE SIMPSONS: Bart is sitting on the living room floor smashing little packages of mustard with a hammer, squirting mustard everywhere, while rhythmically singing, "I've - been - working - on - the - railroad!" with every smash of the hammer. Homer barges in and bellows, "BART! Why did you do that?" Bart stares down at his handwork and says quietly, "I dunno."

"Flow with the Go."

A Fish Called Wanda:

Archie and Wanda are on the bed, and Archie said to Wanda, "How could a bright and smart girl like you have a brother who is so..."

Suddenly Otto appeared and said "Don't call me stupid!"

Man movies are hard to do but one of my favorite scenes that stands out was in Dumb and Dumber where Harry and Lloyd are driving and it starts with Harry saying it looks like they have only gone a couple inches and Lloyd talks about trying to get Harry to gamble and that he bets him he can get him to bet by the end of the day. That movie is full of so many great scenes and a memorible quote from it is "Our pets' heads are falling off!"

There are a ton of other ones, but this ones sticks in my mind.

"Sanity? Worthless things like that, I never had them for as long as I can remember!"

For a TV series I'd have to say it's Robot Chicken's Star Wars. The first one of course. I get hysterical laughing when Vader shoves Jar Jar out the airlock and then he comes back to haunt Vader yelling Oh Ani!

For a movie it's Liar Liar. So many scenes to choose from! But in the courtroom with the wife on the stand and they're tossing insults back and forth....and Jim Carey calls her Jezebel....I laugh every time.

My favorite laugh out loud scene is from Young Frankenstein...actually, there are two.

The first one is when Gene Wilder arrives with Terri Garr and Madeline Kahn at the castle, and says to Marty Feldman,

"Igor, could you give me a hand with the bags?"

And Marty Feldman replies:

"Soitanly! You take the blonde, and I'll take the one in the turban!"

The second scene is where Gene Wilder is about to flip the switch on the equipment, and Marty flips the switch sooner, and Wilder gets a nasty shock. He then shouts "Damn your eyes!"

And Marty turns to the camera and says deadpan, "Too late!"

"You have the right to remain silent. If you choose to waive this right, I may have to kill you in self-defense because you're boring me to death."

I'll need to think about the movie but the tv series would be from The Critic. It was Orson Welles doing an ad. "Rosebud... Yes, Rosebud Frozen Peas. Full of country goodness and green peaness."

In Old School, in the frat initation trust scene, where the hefty black kid throws a cinderblock, tied by wire to his balls, off the roof and it unfortunely hits a manhole cover, crashes it open and the block keeps going. The kid goes flying off the roof and it laying sobbing on the ground and Vince Vaughn yells 'Ok, ok, now walk it off, walk it off now!"..... and for the rest of the movie the black kid talked in a really high voice.

What was the TV show where the girl in the show was killed by a stalker in real life? Whatever show that was, it took place in a loft in a building. One day a nerdy geeky delivery boy arrives and they get into an aruguement about what consitutues a package.

Another Jim Carrey film...

Ace Ventura: Pet Detective - When's he's trying to get committed to the mental institution. He mouths a whistle, yells "Halftime!", etc. When he kneels and slams his face into that seat and his head bounces from the force of it, I lose it every time.

The Family Guy - One of the quick TV ads for De Beers when the silhouette of the woman begins to go down on the silhouette of a man and the font pops up: "Diamonds.. she'll pretty much have to."

"The nose of a mob is its imagination. By this, at any time, it can be quietly led." - Edgar Allan Poe

"A person is smart. People are dumb, panicky, dangerous animals and you know it." - Agent K

For television, the funniest scene I can recall is from the famous Thanksgiving episode of "WKRP in Cincinnati"
--"As God as my witness, I thought turkeys could fly"

Funny funny stuff.
