You had one already, didn't you? I know I envied your collection at GU-3.

Yeah, sure. Japanese edition's AC cover pictures are very simple. I prefer US version's hard cover pictures.

I do, but my goal is now to get a full set of the original s/n limiteds.

And thanks for the envy.

Biggles Wrote:Excuse me for shouting, but I just found, won and paid for a true first hardcover edition of The Tomb on eBay!!! My collection of Adversary Cycle firsts is now complete. I won't tell you what I paid, cuz I don't want anyone telling me I paid too much (which I doubt) or complaining that they paid too much more than I did (which I suspect is true). Life is good! Nicely done.
I'm no veteran of Ebay but I can point you in the direction of a great FREE 'sniping tool' that allows you to win auctions without sitting at your PC waiting (and sweating) for the final seconds to count down. Check out:

Its how I get all of my FPW hardbacks. Its not fair but as Jack might say, all's fair in love and war.
Good luck.

I went to the web site. Might consider it, but doesn't seem quite sporting, eh? Sort of like fishing with a 12 gauge.

It's exactly like that. I'm confiscating your fishing rod. You'll need to buy a bigger freezer to cope with the volume of fish you'll be dealing with. Hoo yah. Big Grin

But Dalt, I'm a "one shot, one kill" kinda guy. I don't even own a shotgun.

Ok, to save your conscience, think of 'Auction sniper' as a personal assistant with slightly less moral fibre than you but who happens to be very good at her job, ultimately giving you more time to...fish.Big Grin
