LolaRennt Wrote:Oh man...Enemy Mine is that Dennis Quaid flick where he befriends some alien that he was originally trying to kill, right? I saw that one when I was a kid...

I wonder if the boyfriend has had that one inflicted on him.

And yeah, Starship Troopers was pretty bad although I was laughing at Neil Patrick Harris probing the poor alien. My boyfriend (who is in the airforce) was fairly offended by the director gleefully calling everything about military life "fascist" (this was in the special features). The director's comments were pretty rabid, actually.

Here's one for you.

"The Barbarians" (1987) . It had those muscle bound brothers in it. It was so horrible I LMFAO!Big Grin

Oh, did anyone mention "The Last Starfighter"?

Susan Wrote:The Quick and the Dead (1995) with Sharon Stone, Russell Crowe, Gene Hackman and Leonardo DiCaprio. Quite a cast, right? And it is directed by Sam Raimi.

I love this movie, but it is very cheesy and over the top. Which is probably WHY I love it! LOL

Susan

That reminds me of the movie "Posse" with Mario Van Peebles, Stephen Baldwin, and Billy Zane. This movie even had gold bullets, LOL.

I don't think Galaxina has been mentioned in this thread yet. First half of the movie is semi-OK, but then they gave her lines.:prrr:

I liked Slither. Thought it was great. Some of the worst films I seen include The Vanguard and Outpost. I dont know if there are seperate threads for these movies but The Happening and The Strangers both sucked ass. Especially The Happening.

Shepard: Border Patrol

Its a Jean Claude Van Damme movie and it was so ungodly horrible. Granted there was like one funny ass line in it, but it wasn't meant to be funny (at least I don't think it was).

What I want to know is how come JCVD has been making American movies for over 20 years and the guy can still barely speak English! WTF???!!!

Clive barker's Midnight meat train, everything was good except for the horribly ridiculously stupid ending. Plus it sounds like a porno.

If I'm not back in 5 minutes...

I just remembered this "gem".

Teenage Catgirls in Heat

It's not a porn, although it sounds like one. It's so poorly done it's funny, especially the scenes where the cats all commit mass suicide by throwing themselves off roof tops. I recommend lots of alcohol (or something stronger) when watching this movie.

The Attack of the Killer Shrews was BAD. [SIZE=2]The shrews were dogs with mop heads on their backs.

I LOVED The Strangers. No accounting for taste I suppose.
