...is an excellent little dramedic fable. The story is the oft told it's-not-how-you-look-but-who-you-are done with tons of offbeat elan and good acting. I've always enjoyed Cristina Ricci and she gives a great performance here as a girl born with a pig's snout for a nose and James McAvoy is equal to her performance as a suitor. This is one the whole family can enjoy, I highly recommend it.

Saw it on the payperview last night...was pleasantly surprised. It felt a little like a cross between a Tim Burton film and Notting Hill.

Axioms Jack seems to live by (inadvertantly or not):

Why he does what he does: "I chose this life. I know what I'm doing. And on any given day, I could stop doing it. Today, however, isn't that day. And tomorrow won't be either." Bruce Wayne, Identity Crisis

On Rasalom: "Water's wet, the sky is blue...and good old Satan Claus, Jimmy...he's out there...and he's just gettin' stronger." Joe Hallenbeck, The Last Boyscout
