Today, I bought 70's movies DVD. The Amityville Horror, The Legend of Hell House, and Steve D mentioned in this thread....Zardos.

This night, I saw The Amityville Horror (Japanese title; The Devil who live in house). When I first saw this movie, I was 13 or 14. Since then, I didn't see it. Now, tonight, I saw it after an interval of about twenty years.

Whisper of the house, "Get...out....GET OUT!" , too many flies, black liquid flood from toilet, screaming priest, and basement........my face is almost

I want to say, I like 70's movies. SF, horror, action, drama...any genre. Of course, also I like 80's movies and presently movies. But 70's movies are all genre are good.

Tell me your favorite 70's movies. Let's talk about 70's movies.

My favorite scary movies from the 70's are easy. I love the Exorcist and the Changeling. Both of them can creep me out in different ways.

Not to be annoying, but The Changeling is actually from 1980. It's my favorite scary movie. Smile

I apparently only OWN 5 movies from the 1970s:

The Fog (Widescreen and Full Frame) DVD 1979
Halloween (25th Anniversary Edition) DVD 1978
Jaws (Anniversary Collector's Edition) DVD 1975
Monty Python and the Holy Grail (2-Disc Special Ed) DVD 1975
The Rocky Horror Picture Show (Single Disc) DVD 1975

Halloween is my favorite horror movie ever, but admittedly the Excorcist scares me down to the core like no other movie.

The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents. ... The piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new dark age.

Oops! Good point. I was thinking it was 1979.

I completely forgot about Halloween and the Fog. I own and really like both of those movies. The Fog can actually be quite spooky.

Anything Monty Python is the best!! I also remember a lame horror flick called The Prom, seems like it starred Jamie Lee Curtis? We laughed all the way through it..
