Okay, these I actually DID draw. I did them today, and since the only copies of the RJ books that have descriptions of these things are at my library (my fifteen-year-old's budget doesn't allow me to splurge on Amazon), my memory might be a little fuzzy. So if the rakosh has the wrong number of fingers or whatever, you'll know why.

In my mind, the designs need tightening up; I'm not sure why. Probably an artist's obsession with getting the details right (the chew wasp's body should be smaller, arrrgh). Anyway, hope you enjoy my little sketches.

P.S. If the links don't work, try again later.

I'm impressed, Animagess. You're 15?! My art was nowhere near as developed at that age.

Those are cool, Animagess. I can't even draw Hello Kitty. Have you done any others?

They were vey good. I liked the Rakosh, I'd like to see what a colour version would look like with the shark like skin. For the record, I can barely draw a smiley :> , see what I mean?

Got it Dave. But what he wrote in the post was "my 15 year-old's budget," which to me said not that he was a 15 year-old, but that had a 15 year old.

Ken V. (Who is old enough, and has been married long enough, to be Lisa's father . . . possibly yours as well. I have a high school classmate who has a 21 year old grand daughter!)

I checked your bio, and I was right! I was married more than ten months when you were born. ( Just call me "Pops.")

I completely missed the 's attached to year-old so I correctly misread it. Rolleyes

That's my story anyway...

Whoops, sorry for the age mix-up. Yes, I'm fifteen, female, and I don't have kids. That's probably easily deducible though.

Yeah, but most of 'em are of *coughs* Jack.

I think I tried that... didn't work out. Maybe the next pic. What's 'shark-like' skin, anyhow?

"Shark skin is made of a matrix of tiny, hard, tooth-like structures called dermal denticles or placoid scales. These structures are shaped like curved, grooved teeth and make the skin a very tough armor with a texture like sandpaper.
