A hearty welcome Croaker. As someone who bears the screen-name of one of my favourite characters from another favourite author of mine, I'm glad that we've tickled your brain.

As I and others have suggested elsewhere, Reborn is a safe read, prior to the most recent Jack novel, but Reprisal and Nightworld all take place after forthcoming Jack books (and I assume a few more short stories, eh FPW?)...so you may want to stop at Reborn to avoid spoilers. See http://www.repairmanjack.com/works.htm for the correct order.

Personally, I've found that waiting to read Reprisal, Nightworld, while virtually unbearable, is blunted some by spending time here, with others who are also waiting. Misery, company and all that.

Plus, there are some really enjoyable characters here. They will all make you feel welcome, I am sure

Enjoy!

Axioms Jack seems to live by (inadvertantly or not):

Why he does what he does: "I chose this life. I know what I'm doing. And on any given day, I could stop doing it. Today, however, isn't that day. And tomorrow won't be either." Bruce Wayne, Identity Crisis

On Rasalom: "Water's wet, the sky is blue...and good old Satan Claus, Jimmy...he's out there...and he's just gettin' stronger." Joe Hallenbeck, The Last Boyscout
