A good way to catch some of the older B movies is to watch MST3K (Mystery Science Theater 3000). No matter how bad the movies are that show makes them fun to watch.
My favorite B movie is Split Second with Rutger Hauer. Another good one is The Ninth Configuration (was it a B flick of it's time?) If you want to see a horror movie that's so terrible in every sense that you will laugh your butt off then watch The Abomination.
