I finally sat down and started watching TORCHWOOD-and found it really well done. This is a VERY 'R' rated DOCTOR WHO spinoff complete with HIGH sexual content and lots of profanity (the F word is muttered quite a bit).
Seriously, if you can watch it on some site-check it out!

Torchwood is out-fuckin-standing! one of my new favorite shows. I love the BBC, my TV is constantly tuned in to BBC America. I wish I was British. Sad

Torchwood! I saw Torchwood episode in Dr.Who seaon 2, it was season finale. I liked that episode, but it was a bit sad.

Anyway, I've never heard about this spinoff, but I'll check this series, someday.

If you are a fan of Captain Jack you are in for a treat. ('nuff said)

Can you remember the Queen Victoria/Werewolf episode from the 2006 Series?
The name of the house where it was set was Torchwood House.[/SIZE]

Of course I remember that episode. "I am not amused!" Big Grin

I noticed Queen said "Torchwood Institute" at the ending.

I found it strangely captivating. I couldn't quite figure out what was going on, until someone told me it was a Dr. Who spin off. Now everything makes perfect sense. It will suck you in. The action is fast, and things are thrown at you, such that by the end of the episode, you feel as if the characters are moving at a breakneck pace. I've only caught a couple of episodes, but they were all very well done.

Gotta love the onscreen chemistry and the mystery.

Also, very interesting to see that kind of sexuality shown in that early of a time slot. (Maybe I'm just too used to censored tv. Baaa.)

Abe's raised eyebrows caused furrows in his extended forehead. "Five in twelve hours?"
"Oh, and like you've never had a cranky day?"
