My personal top 10 of 2007 (theatrical release in Germany)
1. Hot Fuzz
2. Death proof (extended, international version without Planet Terror)
3. Blood Diamond
4. Rendition
5. American Gangster
6. Letters from Iwo Jima
7. Last King of Scotland
8. The golden compass
9. The good shepherd
10. The Prestige

Well, it's hard to compare them, and for me it's also hard to decide wether to list (esp. the last places) movies i watched with high expectations which were not exactly met or to list movies which were much better than expected. This time I wen't with the latter.

Flop 5:
5. The legend of Beowulf
4. lions for lambs
3. invincible
2. 28 weeks later
1. Rush hour 3

Same as above: I just listed the five movies which disappointed me the most, not considering the expectations i had.

3. No Country For Old Men
4. Hot Fuzz
5. *
6. Grindhouse
7. Zodiac
8.Knocked Up

10. Eagle vs Shark

*These two spots are for 2 movies I have yet to see and I believe they would go in here. There Will Be Blood and I'm Not There. I also think The Host will be good.

4. Perfume, the Story of a Murderer
5. Transformers
6. Stardust

The Prestige and The Departed would have been on my list, but they were released here in 2006. I think.

How many vikings does it take to change a light bulb?

None. The light from the burning monastery is more than sufficient.

May the Norse be with you.
