I'm thinking about ordering this chapbook and I'm wondering if anyone has read it? I've never had a chapbook before so I don't realy know how much there is to one and the term 'chapbook' makes me think it will be no more than a pamphlet. Is this the case?

"I handed in the new RJ novel with the
working title, BY THE SWORD. David says the sales force loved the title at the
pre Turkey-Day sales meeting, so that's what it will be. That means Paul Ramplin
gets a credit line in the acknowledgments.

Who's selling it? It was intended as a freebie with purchase of one of the Gauntlet RJ limiteds. It's a pamphlet of a 3K-word memoir.

I don't think anyone's doing anything they shouldn't....
I've got Secret Histories on order from Gauntlet and I asked if I could get The Beast And Me chapbook with my order. Turns out that I get limited cover art instead so I asked if I could add the 'Beast' chapbook as an extra. Seems that I can, for a small fee. Gauntlet aren't selling it as a stand-alone, only as an extra because I'm getting a Repairman Jack limited.
