Mauricio - capuchin monkey

The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents. ... The piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new dark age.

Desecrate a novel by writing in the margins? That's worse than dogearing the pages (but not as bad as creasing the binding). I'd never do such a thing to fiction. I used a notepad.

Just joshing, Jim. I don't write in books either, not anymore. Last time I did was in Brockport, for a calculus course. A lot of "???", "Ask Dr. Schmidt", and "Newton was a SUPREME genius to come up with this!" Followed by more "???":p
