Well Vol. 2 of Heroes has ended. If there was ever an example of how not to followup a phenomenal first season Heroes is it. Without giving any story away, the episode ended with "The End of Volume 2". By this point I was really hoping for "The End of Heroes". What a dud. Hopefully Volume 3 (which starts in 2008 sometime) will get the show back to where it should be.

At least the Dexter has continued with a strong second season.

I thought it ended rather more strongly than it started. Not up to Season 1 standards, but much better than the beginning.

It's an 88 magnum. It shoots through schools.

i was constantly asking questions like "why doesn't Peter just read Adam's mind to find out what his intentions are?" and "what happened to Micah's cousins badass kung fu? and why doesn't Mohinder just grab the gun while he's taking blood from Sylar? and who is the bigger weenie: Peter or the cop? and please don't tell me that HRG shot Nathan...

so i was just a bit disappointed. and would it end someones career to get rid of Mya? at least her brother is taking a dirt nap...i hope.

Clare is just as annoying as Dawn got in "Buffy". In a real creative streak, they completely rehashed the father/daughter conflict in almost the =EXACT= same way as the first season. And once she thought he was dead, what does she do? She decides to go public, the COMPLETE opposite of what he wanted, to "honor" him.

They passed an old woman who was just opening the door of a brown Cadillac. An old man was already sitting in the passenger seat. The car had a personalized plate with the letters “J-U-S-P-R-A-Y”.
“That stuff work?” Israel said to her.
“‘Scuse me?” the little old woman said, clutching her keys.
“The spray. Does it keep them away?”
“Keep who away?” She looked confused.
“I gotcha.” Israel gave her a conspiratorial wink.

Heroes is my favorite show. I agree that this season seemed to drag. It took half the season of watching/waiting just for Hiro to return.

Anyone here also read the Heroes novels (link below)? They're released every week on Tuesday. Helps understand some parts of the storylines and they are very interesting. NBC has had some great tie-ins to the show. From the PrimaTech Paper website you can visit to Hana Gitelman's website. Very neat!

fpw Wrote:Started the boxed set of the series Monday night and have seen ten episodes. Love it. What a daring show and what a fabulous cast. Whoever cast Masi Oka as Hiro is a freakin genius.

Today, finally I saw HEROES. I saw first and second episode. Fantastic!

Hiro! He's funny! Now he's my favorite character. Big Grin

I just realized a giant plothole. When Peter and Nathan were flying to Haiti they just dropped out of the sky. At first I assumed it was because they were near the Haitian, but it was the eclipse and then I remembered something. When the Haitian and the guy with the glasses first confronted the elder Petrelli he flew away. How could he have done that if the Haitian were standing right in front of him?

And I have to say, for the record, the writers have no idea what they are doing with Hiro. He should easily be the most powerful character in the show, but he's the most annoying (with Claire running a close second). It made 0 sense that he could stop time but the speedster girl was able to 'break out'. He STOPPED time. Unless her power somehow had to do with the timestream that made no sense. I won't even get into the problems with him sitting at his desk and rewinding time while he was looking at the little clock (let's just say he should have been sitting in his own lap).

Season 2 and eventually 3 are on my purchase list. Still haven't had the chance to sit down and watch the rest of season 1 yet.

Unless they're using the same plot-hole that The Flash and Superman (due to one movie)has. Remember he can go forward and back in time.

I had always noticed this too, my only guess was that the haitian can control his powers and got caught off gaurd. As in last night's episode he was aware of his own power and that it was gone.

I think this season has been great. Not as good as the first but a lot better than the second season. I'm very interested in how this chapter will end and lead into "fugitives" the next chapter after "Villains"

I agree that the writers have no idea what to do with Hiro. I think he is being so underused. I just wish we could see the bad ass hiro that came from the future in season one. But at the same time the seeing the future and the season being about stopping it is kind of getting old. It's been three seasons of basicly the same dangerous future. Please do something new.

"Sanity? Worthless things like that, I never had them for as long as I can remember!"
