You may recall a conversation we had many years ago where I mentioned the UK didn't allow 'proper penetration' to be shown, the rules have changed, as far as I know, but a hard on is still a hard sell ;o)
I don't know why but it's kind of cool that we're being censored. Now I can have a director's cut!

I didn't want to say anything before, hehehe.
Marc B. Wrote:But there is no sex and no penetration. The rules did say nothing overtly pornographic. "The Bottom Down" isn't.
Though I can't say I'm surprised it definitely poses a challenge. Only a few days to re-edit to make it more viewer friendly.

So this weekend we shot a new short film for the Halloween Horror Challenge 2007. The shoot began at 2 a.m. on Sat. at a local bar and we wrapped around 10 a.m. On Dead in the Water we managed to shoot 10 pages in about 14 hours... on this short we did 10 pages in 8. Overall I'm pleased with the results but it does feel a little rushed. I wish we had more time or at least a second night for reshoots but unfortunately we don't. It was a one night deal.
By the end everyone was exhausted. Some people got a couple hours of sleep prior but most didn't so a lot of us were by the end up more than 24 hours. And to give credit to two crew members, they had to work about two hours after wrap for 8 hour shifts so they were going 32+ hours before getting sleep. This is the testament to truly wonderful people who go above and beyond the call of indie filmmaking duty.
Still, "The Bottom Down" is by far the sickest most twisted and disturbing thing I've ever done. I can't wait to get it posted to show everyone and get feedback. I'm still trying to figure out the title so without revealing too much of the story I'm curious to get a consensus on what title is best. (The current working title is "The Bottom Down".)
Synopsis: Jason is too embarrassed to go to a hospital to get a stuck cock ring removed so, instead, he goes to his bartender friend. But the bartender has other plans because Jason is dating his younger sister and has gotten her addicted to heroine.
Here are some of the titles I'm considering. What do you think works best?

Marc B. Wrote:No one from DitW... well, unless you count a zombie extra. But no... three new faces.Congrats! Let us know when you win!
And I finally got a cut the festival has accepted.
