There has already been a Titanium Man, by the way. Of course, Marvel has had many villains and sometimes heroes that wear armor of one kind or another: Crimson Dynamo, Titanium Man, Dr. Doom, Guardsman, Machinesmith, Ultron, Iron Monger, Rhino, Gladiator, Ultimo, Juggernaut, War Machine, and Colossus.
Note that I said, "armor of one kind or another."

I met Jim Shooter some years ago at Bull McCabes Irish Pub. He and my dear friend Bluesman James were talking comics, and I overheard. Introduced myself, and had a fun talk with Jim. I was telling him how much I admired the Nefaria books, quoting and acting. Jim said, "Jesus Christ, Mike! You know them better than I do!":p

The longer trailers look just as good...I'm interested, even if it's just to see how badly they have spit on my childhood memories when they totally mess it up.
We'll see how Jon Favreau does... and how badly the studio butchers it.

John Byrne was THE MAN back in those days. He's the reason I applied to Art School (the same one he went to in Calgary BTW)...but that's another story.
Both the Byrne/Nefaria story arc and the Korvac/Perez arcs are, IMO, some of the best examples of group-dynamics comic-book storytelling, ever. The only other story-arc I consider in the same class is the Phoenix/Dark-Phoenix run by Claremont/Byrne (so you can imagine the meltdown I had when I saw X3).

Plus, Favreau acted in Daredevil so he knows how badly a studio can bullocks up a movie in the cutting room, no matter what the director shoots...so hopefully, as he is also an Executive Producer, he has post-production control as part of his director's contract.
On the downside, of course, Avi Arad and Kevin Feige are the main producers...the same two geniuses that gave us Daredevil (Theatrical Release) and X3.
