I concur Mike. "It's not just an investment; It's an heirloom." (With apologies to the US Navy.) Anyway, I've never looked at Paul's works as an investment, but as a treasure, to be enjoyed by me and passed down to my kids, SOB and DOB. Smile

Biggles Wrote:I hope by now that all of the remaining copies have been claimed by board members. I think it's very classy that Borderlands gave our board first crack at them. Since I already had one, I didn't go after another, but I still want to convey my thanks to Borderlands for their gesture. They are truly a class operation.
I agree. When I spoke to the lady on the phone, I told her that she had made my day. I couldn't thank her enough!!!

I called earlier today, and just got a call back a few minutes ago. He said he still had a "few" left, and mine will be shipping today. Smile

I thanked him for giving the board members first shot at them, and agree with those who've said they thought that was a classy move.

Thanks to Borderlands, and thanks for the heads up, FPW.

She was confused when I called, wondering why the phones were ringing off the hook. After I explained, she was delighted. Smile

Called yesterday and left message; Borderlands called back early this morning and on the way.

Now, if I can only get it signed by the author, life would be complete!

Although unlikely, could Susan have made a mistake in labeling FPW "The Man," rather than "Da Man?"

"Don't let The Man getcha and do what he done to me!" "Run through the Jungle," Credence Clearwater Revival

"You Da Man!" Widely used phrase of approbation.

OH FRABLOUS DAY! Hull-ee Geee! (Plus other noises of wondrous celebration!)

You da Man!
