tenebroust Wrote:You can see a trailer for it. It doesn't look very coherent, maybe more like a weird spin on the Innsmouth story, rather than Call of Cthulhu.

I checked trailer.

Looks creepy, and feels like Spanish horror. But is this really concerned with Cthulhu?

It does seem a little creepy but how good could it be with Tori Spelling in it?? Wink It looks like it might be somewhat related to The Shadow Over Innsmouth, rather than Cthulhu per se. But that is just my feeling on it.

If Tori Spelling is going to be in it, then all the mysterious trailers in the world won't save it.

BTW, back in '98 when Tristar was running promos for the American Godzilla flick, the trailers were all cryptic like this one, only showing small, infintecimal parts of the newly (suckily) designed Godzilla and creating a whole load of hype about the film. Then you actually saw the film and you were like, 'WTF was that?!'

I hope this doesn't turn out the same way.

If Tori Spelling is in a movie, I have no clue. I don't know what she looks like, I never watched her in whatever TV series that made her famous. I think she was in a couple of horror movies that I've watched, but I don't know what they might have been.

Isn't Cuhltu a dragon with octopus tentacles around its mouth? Is that going to look scary?

Watching events in the world, I'd thought Cthulhu had that project well underway.

Kenji, apologies. I didn't read about the quake until after I submitted that last post. What's the situation? On Fox this evening, there was a report of a small fire at a nuclear power station. Has that been dealt with?

Oh, you don't need to do apologies, Mike. Wink

Situation is terrible. Three years ago, a strong earthquake hit Niigata. This time also strong quakes hit same places, Niigata!

You said, "Where are the Elder Gods when you need them?". Well, I can say one thing. Elder Gods abandoned Niigata!

I'm sure your emergency-services people are well-trained and well-equipped, and I hope causalties and damage were kept to the minimum.
