This is too sad..... Sad

http://www.latimes.com/entertainment/la-...6975.story

When I was young I always enjoyed his movies, on TV, in a theatre.

The Long, Hot Summer
The Left Handed Gun
Cat on a Hot Tin Roof
The Hustler
Hud
Cool Hand Luke(The best one)
Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid(Another best one)
The Life and Times of Judge Roy Bean
The MacKintosh Man
The Sting(without a doubt, this is the best)
The Drowning Pool
The Towering Inferno
Slap Shot
When Time Ran Out
Fort Apache the Bronx
Absence of Malice
The Verdict
The Color of Money
The Hudsucker Proxy
Road to Perdition

I saw them. They're all different genres, he played different characters. The gunman, prisoner, bank robber, detective, ice hockey player, attorney, mafia.....etc.

What are your favorite Paul Newman's movies?

You scared me, Kenji. I thought Paul Newman had died. He's just retiring from making films, and at age 82 he certainly deserves to sit back and relax (or just race cars Big Grin ).

I'm glad Paul Newman is still with us. I felt so very sad at the thought of his death.

Reading is freedom.
The mind soars, no earthly cares,
no limitations.
A Maggers Haiku, 2005

Years ago my mother used to say to me... "In this world, Elwood, you can be oh so smart or oh so pleasant."
Well, for years I was smart.
I recommend pleasant.
You may quote me.

Elwood P. Dowd

Oh, sorry Maggers. I didn't intend to scare you.

But Paul Newman without acting is too sad to me....
