Nightworld at Wikipedia

Hurry before someone comes along and fixes it.

Some utter spastic has tried to write a wikipedia article on Nightworld, and does a remarkably bad job of it. I laughed my socks off when I wa reading this babble, but instead of fixing it myself I thought it's be worth a brief, bitter laugh from the group.

I think it was written by a kid, maybe 15 or 16 years old.

He made some mistakes but his exuberance for the story more than makes up for them.

The only part that I find questionable is his references to "the other". How can anyone finish the six books and not have a firm concept of The Otherness? I can proudly state that my knowledge of The Otherness has eclipsed my knowledge of Catholicism. Smile

It doesn't. I'm guessing he's at that age.

Hahaha! I've never seen "!" in Wikipedia!

I believe you're right about that, Kenji. Big Grin

Even though the person who wrote the article seems to have a somewhat slippery grasp on the "facts", he or she certainly is a big fan. Heck, it's a positive review, for all its flaws, so that's all right. And yeah - it is sort of funny, too.

I think someone should email F Paul Wilson and tell him to go and revise all of his Otherness books.

Apparently the Ally is supposed to be called The Anti-Other.

You wouldn't expect an FPW to make a silly mistake like that, would you? Rolleyes

One thing I found funny.....there aren't the correct number of letters to make Satan into Rasalom. He missed this point amoung others.
