Many may remember the story about why I am naming my baby Jack. I was able to sell many of my precious signed limited editions (including the hard to find Haunted Air) to help pay for several tests not covered by my insurance. Unfortunatley, we have come upon a problem. Jack will be born in 6 weeks and although naming the baby Jack was a no brainer, we can't decide on a middle name. My wife and I have been through so many names without being able to come to a resolution. This morning I thought to myself, of course we can't decide, we haven't consulted the Jack boards. Although I have read every Repairman Jack book and own almost every FPW book I don't think I know his middle name. I am open to suggestions in case the real Jack doesn't have a middle name. Hurry, time is running out. My wife may choose a middle name at random.

"At Random" would be a unique and wonderful middle name!

Jacks best friend is Abe, I'd suggest Abraham if you want to stick with the books. Cause Julio just doesn't seam to mesh. Wink Actually, what are you looking for, for the middle name. Something from the books?

Your baby will be born is six weeks, how exciting. Wishing all of you to be well and your wife a smooth and quick delivery.
A middle name hmm, how about Thomas? That was Jack's brother. And after his noble, if late sacrifice....he might have earned it.

We weren't looking at the books when we were thinking of a middle name but with 6 weeks ago I am thinking we should because nothing seems to sound right. I would like something that signifies that this baby is truly named after RJ.

Maybe FPW will give you a name. After all, Repairman Jack is his "baby".

Why not Francis after the author of the book? I'm serious, men are named Francis, I have a cousin christened this at birth. (Talk about a tribute)

*wipes away a tear* What a wonderful thought, Ken! I love it. The name even sounds good - Jack Francis Collins - I'm assuming Collins, but that really does sound wonderful to the ear.

What was Jack's father's name? My aging brain gets in the way sometimes; I can't remember it.

Years ago my mother used to say to me... "In this world, Elwood, you can be oh so smart or oh so pleasant."
Well, for years I was smart.
I recommend pleasant.
