Just a memory about CHARLOTTE'S WEB. Miss Kalfion read it to her 4th grade class in 1963. I was there. Not ashamed to admit tears rolled down my 9 year old cheeks at the ending: (quoting from memory) "It's not often you meet someone who's a good friend and a good writer. Charlotte was both." I knew then I had to write. Know what I mean?
