IanSF Wrote:Perhaps there is a different set of ads for Brit visitors. That is quite likely. Why advertise a US only DVD to a visitor from Britain, when you can get money for advertising a British release DVD.
IanSF Wrote:Well, I tried again to catch the ad, but still no luck. There seems to be a random selection of a set of ads; the score stacked up like this:I got it three times in about 10-12 refreshes. I clicked on it and it took me to the Amazon.com page for the DVD. So just go to the Amazon.com link for Pelts.
Sum & Villainny Buboicullar Creature Pack: 16
Little Miss Sunshine: 11
generic Amazon DVD ad: 29
O C Pet Photos: 15
Harry Potter & DH: 17
Babel: 16

Blake Wrote:I was just over at The Digital Bits when I noticed a really gross and disturbing ad in a banner at the top of the page. Suddenly the word "PELTS" came up! I went back to the page and didn't see it, but maybe if you hit "refresh" a few times it'll come up. You might also see an ad for the DVD in the upper right. Where else have people seen this advertised?
For everybody's convenience, here's the Amazon link to the DVD. It apparently comes out February 13.

Oh, and what was not for the squeamish? I didn't squeam at all.

If it's an animated gif banner ad I was hoping someone would be able to download a copy and email it to me. (Knowing my luck it'll be a '.sf' not a '.gif'.)
