So to maybe make Lon feel a little better about his strange habit, I must admit that I have been tracking RJ locations on Google Earth.* I've looked up Gia's place on Sutton Place, I've tracked Jack to Bermuda and Nantucket (I think I located almost exactly where the safehouse is) and Red Hook (I also think I found the warehouse, aka HOME). I followed him to John Jay park near New York Hospital and even found the pedestrian walkway over the FDR.

The attention to detail that Paul has in the books is seemingly near perfect. I only say 'near' perfect because I couldn't figure out how the safehouse is "directly north" of the Wauwinet Inn. Big Grin

*I know, webby, I know, but Google Earth is just too freakin' cool. :p

The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents. ... The piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new dark age.

While you may track RJ places on Google Earth, I try to do it in person and then photograph and post 'em. Who's more nerdy? Big Grin

Reading is freedom.
The mind soars, no earthly cares,
no limitations.

Years ago my mother used to say to me... "In this world, Elwood, you can be oh so smart or oh so pleasant."
Well, for years I was smart.
I recommend pleasant.

Ok, the Sutton Square pic is kinda cool - though I liked Maggers' pics better.

Hmm, I wonder who Google bought that technology from, anyway?

Nighty-night folks. I also have a 5:00 am alarm set! Smile
