Legacies is the third FPW book I've read in the last month since discovering this great author. I stumbled onto Conspiracies and loved it, so I immediately picked up The Tomb and The Keep so that I could get the Adversary Cycle in order AND the Repairman Jack books in some kind of order. The Keep is at work so that I have something to read at lunchtime.

Of the 4 books so far Legacies is definitely #4 for me. I liked it, but maybe because there was no supernatural element it just wasn't as interesting as the other 3. The Keep is turning out to be pretty good. I had my doubts because I'm more interested in the RJ character than anything else. But it stands up well on it's own.

Most likely I'll keep reading them in tandem until I start to get caught up. Next is All the Rage I guess. Big Grin

This is really interesting because every once in a while some newbie posts about how he/she likes RJ but is unhappy about the amount of supernatural content... and then we generally don't hear from that person again. I think most of us who love all the books in the RJ series love them because of the combination of straight thriller and supernatural storylines.

The Keep is excellent. I'm sure you'll be more than glad that you read it, once you are finished. Smile

You are so right Webby. Now that I'm reading some the older works of FPW, it's neat when you find a tie in to a future work.

I like the supernatural as much as the next person... but I also like seeing Jack handle things in a more "normal" setting. Obviously in novels, normal is relative.

I like the combonation in the RJ books. I think that's why I got so hooked to them mundane mixed with fantastic works well for me. I am waiting to get the next books in the Adversary series, I read The Keep as well and though I liked it, I prefer the RJ books for now. Can't wait for Harbingers!
