In my opinion I just have a feeling that these stories would be better suited for an hour long cable tv series like the sopranos or deadwood. Each season would encompass a novel, maybe some short stories, of course ending each season with a cliff hanger and concluding next season. There would be enough material for at least ten seasons, and would be more in-depth than a 2 to 2 1/2 hour movie would be. Just throwing some ideas around.

At first: Do you REALLY want an other RPJ Mpvie/Series?
I mean, all what's up in your mind, your phantasie, your creativity is gone because you see the artists and places of the movie/series

i agree films kinda ruin what you imagine all of the characters look & act like no one could play a better jack than the one i imagine. but since a film is inevitable i agree with making a series type thing definitely on hbo so certain things wont be cut out & all the violence & weirdness everyone loves will still be there
