Well....not to be morbid.......if the dead person's eyes are not closed...(some don't shut).....you COULD TRY to close them. A "wave" of the hand will not do it. You must push the lid down. In some cases, the lids will not stay down.

That was the case with my wife. I had to hold her eyelids down because they kept opening. That and holding her jaw to keep her mouth closed.

On the first episode of "The Fall Guy", the front knuckles, and frame broke after a jump. In the next cut, the truck was perfect again. Watch the General Lee land on "The Dukes of Hazzard". Usually the front clip gets folded up from landing on the bumper. They then cut to a perfect car again.

The best movie I've ever seen that completely pokes fun at most of these cliches is The Last Action Hero starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. You gotta see it if you haven't yet - or see it again if you have. It's a fun movie and I think it's really cool that Arnold made this movie, sort of a "kids-don't try this at home!" moral to it.
