Yes, why not? I haven't seen any movies she's been in, but based on appearances alone (and the eerily similar name!) she's a good choice!

She's not strictly an "actress", but since she's the granddaughter of Dino DeLaurentiis and also appears on camera constantly as host of her own cooking show, she's got the screen presence necessary. She looks great as a blonde too.
