Uh-oh....that's spoiler! Big Grin Be careful.Wink

I saw Seven, too. Brad Pitt's and Morgan Freeman's acting were terrific. But Kevin Spacy was impressiveness actor than them.

I'd repressed that. Thanx SO much for bringing it back.

I agree on the bite the curb scene in American History X and the genital nailing in Serpent and the rainbow still makes me cringe.

One thing, and I am sure I am demonstrating my ignorance here, but what the hell is Zaftig? Not sure I want to do an internet search as what my mind leads me to beleive it is isn't something I think I want to see on the internet....

Ned Beatty getting raped in Deliverance. The actual rape was horrible, but how the guy taunted him beforehand...

How about the needle in the eye in The Serpent and the Rainbow?

What else? The video from the dead crew in Event Horizon.

Yeah, that about does it for me too. Of course, most of Miike's films have some pretty gruesome stuff. I had to look away a couple of times during the "birth" scene in "Gozu".

NYPD Pyscho is the only other film-although it wasn't really a film-of his I've seen and it certainly was no walk in the park. I don't like to say anything about Audition except to watch it.

Cronenburg's The Fly had its share of seat-squirming scenes. The maggot birth, Brundle's decay and his eating methods all churned my innards.

How about Mr. Creosole(sp) from The Meaning of Life. I've never laughed harder at something so disgusting.

Especially when another bucket was needed several times. The best part was the wafer thin mint. "It's wafer thin!" KABOOM! and then EVERYONE vomits.
Must be my profession, vomit can be joked about. Cold and cruel we are!

The cleaning lady scrubbing up the vomit at his table doesn't even flinch as he pukes on her back. Obviously a task she had endured many times before.

And let's not forget the Organ Donor scene from the same film. Big Grin

I always try to avoid movie reviews so that I can see a film without any preconceptions or spoiled scenes. I have no problem with zaftig women. All women are beautiful in their own way, IMO. But this scene hit me without warning and all I could do was admire KB for having the guts to not give a damn what people would say. That said, I really wish I'd read a damn review first!!!! Where the hell was your FF review when I needed it? Big Grin

Funny, I've noticed in the course of my advancing years that greybeards and balding guys are more attractive. I like a little girth on my guys, too.
